The sketch looks familiar to me. Your photo is also somewhat unclear. The blue part is the baseplate on your side. It consists at the foot area of a 30 cm brick + insulation panel + plaster + paint. The plaster was applied down to the GOK, whereas the base plate / frost skirt was already surrounded by backfilled material. That is why it looks so uneven. We applied a mineral sealing on the baseplate (that is, on the plaster) and extended it down to the XPS panel. Then we placed the studded membrane against it and filled and compacted gravel next to it. I also added some grit under the insulation panels – as a capillary-breaking layer / drainage and to have little hollow space there. However, you would need to clarify whether this is advisable in your case. According to the sketch and execution, the foundation wall is equipped with a horizontal barrier. The insulation panel / plaster likewise (through the in-house work). Therefore, water cannot penetrate laterally. It might possibly rise from below, but there you have frost-proof material (gravel) or grit.
