Battery yes, but wired? Then better to stink.

Battery for 600m²? With one battery charge and new batteries, I often didn't get even 150m², although the mower was rated for 550-600m². The same experience just three houses away. I don't want to know how often you have to charge when the batteries start to decline.

Hello everyone, I would definitely tend towards a petrol mower here. A ride-on mower for 600m², are you serious? I have almost 1400m² of land minus the house and paths, that's still well over 1000m² to mow. With a mulching function, done easily in 2 hours. My parents have a ride-on mower for 2400m², that's worth it. However, their biggest effort is the reworking of areas that the ride-on mower doesn't really reach. I decided on a petrol lawn mower with a large cutting width (>50cm), large basket (>70L) and wheel drive. I was able to find a good price/performance ratio at the company Hecht (available directly from the manufacturer or, for example, on [die Bucht]). So far I am absolutely satisfied with it. Delivery was also trouble-free.

I mow about 250 sqm with half a battery charge (4.0 Ah capacity), and currently mostly only after 2-3 weeks, so with the corresponding cutting height. Generally, for that size, I would simply buy a second battery and also use it for other devices (hedge trimmer, grass trimmer, etc.). The advantages for me are quite clear: light, fewer wear parts, and charging the battery with photovoltaic power.

Somehow I must have chosen the wrong ones. Although there were noticeably many battery mowers on Ebay that were sold again after a year. I switched to petrol mowers. Disadvantage: heavy and unwieldy, Advantage: powerful, collects the grass unlike my former battery lawn mower, significantly faster, cheaper

Ultimately, as a man you only feel comfortable when the gasoline engine runs loud and powerful. Such a battery-powered girly mower..no. The Tim Allen man's heart also mows along. SCNR
