And?
How does it look?
I’m in favor of a gable roof with these 87-KS, but budget 90-95 below, nicely with an office and shower toilet, then cleverly and skillfully partition the knee walls upstairs so that upstairs there are spacious 2/3 living areas with less off-putting slopes.
Cozy gable roof house on a great plot.

Currently, talks with the bank regarding financial feasibility are underway, and the construction performance description of the original house is with the engineer of the construction financing department.

Over the weekend, I procured materials. Gussek Haus at the local show house center was visited, but at first glance, it seems very expensive (GK3 / GK4). Danhaus was also visited; the seller is on vacation. Brochures from a staircase exhibition were obtained.

I have not succeeded in fitting our desired layout on the ground floor into a smaller two-story house below. I will only continue considering this option once feedback from the bank is available.

As of now, I tend towards a house roughly based on the original 11 x 9 +- hardly changed.

Personally, I have developed a visual preference for the exterior appearance of the Danhaus Engelsby with a panorama bay window. But so far, we have neither promotional prices nor a construction performance description to assess it at all.

Naively, I fully agree with you there, but show me in practice how this skillful partitioning of the knee walls is supposed to succeed: with a 30 to 48 ° roof pitch, there is a difference of between 23 and 12 cm between the 87 cm knee wall and the 100 cm dwarf wall (= building depth of the knee wall including the dwarf wall). Merciful goddess, straight into the basket!

I have always found Danhaus rather modest. But to each their own...

I don't think they're bad at all. I like it precisely because the roof is set so low. It feels very cozy, and the attic rooms are too. And yes: it has always been difficult to divide affordable living space into a city villa.

Oops, what's up again with Danhaus? Did that refer to the purely visual?
