Ah okay.. How would you implement that then? We want to give our kiddies the possibility to see who is there via cam.
Use a Doorbird video indoor station or the app on a suitably mounted tablet (or several). Within your LAN, you don't need a cloud if you don't need to see the doorbell when you're away.
Which visualization can you basically recommend?
I use an Android phone but my wife uses Apple.
It depends whether you want something ready-made or are looking for a new hobby :) I mostly use Basalte or Control4, depending on the requirements. At home, besides Control4, I also run HomeAssistant for deeper functions. In the KNX world, I find the Jung Smart Visu Server ("normal" or Pro) pretty good as well.
For my new build, I might go with Basalte or Control4 with PEAKnx/Youvi, depending on how far those are by then. Except for HomeAssistant, you need an installer for the ones mentioned; you can't do it yourself. Others like Eisbär (though it costs a bit), ioBroker covers a lot and is easy to set up. Colleagues swear by IP Symcon... there are no general recommendations. Either you get deeply into the topic yourself or you hire someone for money.
