Kitchen planning/layout in a newly built single-family house

I always like Yvonne's idea. But here I would try to preserve the corner window. The room needs every ray of light, as you can't expect much from the west side – there's the tree. :)

But the kitchen has to work, dear Katja. Cooking is better with a bit more wall. I think it does the bulky exterior a lot of good to have a break there now and then.

If I understand correctly, we're still on the ground floor with the kitchen. Below that is the basement. Even if we get 50cm higher because the ground floor is raised a bit, I don't think you can see over the tree yet. :)
I'm also in favor of a wall where a tall cabinet can stand. But only 2 or 3. Or the solution with a window between the wall and base cabinets. But would that still look good from the outside?

Without exact measurements, it's hard to say anything. At least I can't find anything like how long, for example, the shorter piece of the L or the wall towards the stairs would be?
