What does that mean translated now?
(for someone who doesn't know what diffuses through the back of a drawer :D)

It's like the washing machine. Socks always disappear there. In the drawer maybe spoons, knives or spices

Spoons and knives are more likely to end up in the trash. A metal detector would be practical there.

the top layer of cloths, sometimes sponges, basically everything that is placed on top when the drawer is already full. Whether the gap at the back on top is almost 10cm or just 2cm, you'll notice quickly. With luck, it's then in the drawer below, with bad luck you have to take them all out ;)

Then optimize it. I mean what I write. It is a tip for your "optimization potential". Do it! My sense of humor is quite well activated when I wonder that topics are being discussed that one has already evaluated for oneself. Moreover, these are not particularly costly considerations worthy of discussion. Therefore my tip: do it and look for further optimization possibilities ;)

Oh, so some people have to feel (extra work to get to the parts again) when a drawer is full. The glass back doesn’t help with that either.
Try it with a glass bottom in the drawers. :D
