I do not share that opinion: In our current house, we definitely have cutouts for sockets in the glass. They just need to be carefully planned in advance. Then it is absolutely no problem and also not a price driver. Well, it was quite a while ago. But the (2) cutouts cost 115 euros back then (2007). The glass itself was under 500 €: An equivalent area, for example in granite, costs multiples of that.However, with glass, it must be taken into account that cutouts for sockets cannot be integrated that easily, or at least this significantly increases the price.
