Hello everyone,
since my question fits quite well here, I didn’t want to open a new topic.
So far, the topic has always been about the KfW 40 standard.
If you build solidly with a wall thickness of about 36.5 cm according to the KfW 70 or Energy Saving Ordinance 2016 standard (in my understanding the same?), can you then plan a fireplace (5 kW?) without fear that the room will overheat? A air-to-water heat pump is used for heating (underfloor heating).
The open space (living room, dining room, kitchen) where the fireplace is located is about 60 m² in size.
Best regards
If you get a concrete ceiling, then definitely yes.
60 m2 reinforced concrete - 20 cm thickness equals 30 tons.
Can therefore absorb almost 50 kWh of heat at a delta of 6 degrees.
