Hello
Where is the problem with the desired KFW standard?
With blinds, air space, home automation/KNX, dressing room, children's bathroom and the like, there are objections about whether it makes sense on this scale – never. And there isn’t a single thing that pays off, all are things that will cause additional costs for maintenance and care in the future.
Those who insulated their roof with 140mm glass wool more than 30 years ago and sealed the joints with aluminum adhesive tape were also told at the time that it was nonsense and would never pay off. Double glazing was also completely fine not so long ago. Who still builds something like that in their new build today?
Why not build one step ahead of the current standard?
I still enjoy our "Kfw 40 insulation" after 4 years and will of course build the new house also as KFW40, simply because I enjoy it and want it that way, even if it is only rented out.
