To be honest, I wouldn’t do the devil’s work by changing my preferred construction method just because of kfw40. Especially when you want to build in the name of the environment.

We have now been living in our kfw55 house for 4 months and have consumed 1650kwh (with air-water heat pump and electric car), so what’s the point of the 40 craze? Most people have no idea anyway, but still want it at all costs.

Does the car consume that much? We have used a total of 500 kWh in the last 4 months with our something between 55 and 40 house. #xxxwanzvergleich ...

One chooses a construction method and then builds it.

There are pros and cons for everything.

Then I would check the electricity meter, something is definitely wrong there, good for you!

500kwh are you sure :-p. I find that extremely low! But all the better for your wallet. I mean, I don't have a comparison now, where would I even get one! I can't use the apartment as a comparison, because everything there was distributed based on the square meters over 4 parties. But 1650kwh for heating, hot water, car and consumption electricity I find low for 4 months based on gut feeling
