We also have KfW 55 and that little bit of insulation under the floor slab is not going to ruin my health now?! You can achieve it like this (monolithic, controlled living space ventilation, insulated floor slab) and like this (Wdvs). Everyone decides for themselves.

You can also insulate with wood fiber or sheep's wool.

For us, KFW 55 is also specified. This was the result of some great energy concept that calculated that it is worthwhile. In addition, cheap loans were advertised. Those times are over; KFW 153 has become quite unattractive. Exactly for this reason, the builders here also sought talks with the municipality, as no one wanted to use the KFW program. Solution: The thermal insulation certificate is needed anyway. The limits for KFW 55 can be proven with it. Completely without KFW applications and the expert costs. And without a KFW loan. Karsten, keep the diaper dry. No one has died from 2-4cm more insulation. KFW 40+ settlements, etc., are often good for the municipalities as well. They collect subsidies and prestige for it. It can also be a local political lever to push a building area through at all (with the motto of exchanging land consumption for an “eco-settlement”).

I have nothing against buying or building it. I do have something against prescribing it, although the legislator does not require it. That is an impertinence and additionally increases the cost of building, it is already expensive enough. K.

The law (usually) regulates the minimum standard. I understand that a municipality may have a different (stricter) regulation. This also applies to the development plan. With the same argument, one could otherwise say that there is a state building code.

The conditions are clear. Whoever buys it - with the existing conditions - has to comply with them. Period (by the way, I mean compliance with the limit values - and not the financing program: No one will be able or allowed to prescribe that either - but the limit values, on the other hand, can).
