Is underfloor heating possible in a timber frame house?

I heard that underfloor heating in a house with timber frame construction is not a good idea? Why is that? Friends are now building a timber frame house with surface heating on the ceiling. What other pros and cons are there with timber frame construction?

No, underfloor heating is also standard in timber frame construction.

The heating doesn't care at all what material the walls are made of. The flooring is (sometimes) decisive.

We have a timber frame construction. The underfloor heating is installed in the wet screed, as in the "Stein auf Stein" house. There are also dry screed systems and wall heating is also possible in timber frame construction. So what should be problematic about underfloor heating in timber frame construction?

I am hearing this for the first time as well. At least, there are plenty of timber frame houses with regular underfloor heating without any problems.

I don't know. Acquaintances chose a ceiling heating system in their new timber frame house and said underfloor heating wouldn't be so ideal. I will ask about that.
