Is the garage driveway possible and somewhat practical for everyday use?

From years of experience with a double parker, I can tell you that it is absolute rubbish if you can't get to the trunk. Drive out, get out, load, continue driving. The same game when coming back. And woe betide you if you have a small child. They don’t just stand still like a bag; to get them in and buckle them up, you have to fully open the corresponding door.

Counter-question: What exactly does the current plan (house/property etc.) look like and what does your planner/architect say? That it’s such a mess is beyond question.

Neighbor has a similar situation. The wall in front of him is a bus stop with a shelter and his house is to the right of the garage. In addition, there is a slope/height difference of at least 1 m. He always drives in backwards…

Originally, the garage was planned to be 50cm wider, which would have made driving in somewhat easier. But setting it back by 80cm should be doable, (and reducing the length of the garage from 600cm to 550cm).

Is down south? Then the garage there is of course suboptimal. Otherwise, I didn’t understand why it doesn’t come down. For me, the garage would not be usable like that.

Does resetting by 80 cm help? There is also that small piece of wall to the right of the garage.

The wall on the right can be moved slightly back in the "critical area".

(Alignment of garage entrance NW, but it can't be done differently because of the access! A terrace is planned on the garage (SW), which then has a good orientation! But that's not the topic here ;-) )
