Is the drywall installer allowed to smoke?

Smoking never bothered me even as a non-smoker. What really annoyed me was that everyone just throws their cigarettes on the ground wherever they stand, especially outside. I find that disrespectful, because who picks it up? As long as there is proper ventilation and the cigarettes go into the ashtray, I would save my nerves for more important things. Otherwise, a polite reminder. Many people don't even notice that their behavior bothers others. It's only fair to communicate that.

if you are (completely unfoundedly) afraid that the evil nicotine particles will nestle into the shell and consider your health to be at risk, you must under NO circumstances have a glued floor or even a plastic floor installed. Of course, also no pieces of furniture in which adhesive has been used. I also hope that you live far away from a street.

A decent craftsman doesn’t smoke up other people’s houses. It’s just not proper. With me, it was over with cigarettes in the house from the shell construction onwards, and I say that as a smoker.. ;)

I just think that a heavily dependent chain smoker cannot simply abstain out of decency, even if he wanted to. If you are strict about it, you just have to go separate ways. A smoke break every 20 minutes is also not an option after all.

If I don't pay by the hour and he still finishes on time, then yes...

One of the guys here smoked cigarillos and threw them into my flowerbed right in front of my eyes….
