Is the appearance of the new facade faulty or not?

Hello,

the problem with ETICS is always that you see EVERY panel. No matter how good they are, you will always have this. Since only about a 5mm thick layer of plaster is applied, you see every little unevenness. In a normally plastered house, you have 1-2 cm, which evens out much more. Walk through a new housing development and look at the facades in raking light. You immediately see the difference between ETICS and solid construction.

I think you won’t achieve much there, but it’s worth a try...

Let us know what came out of it.

Regards
Tom

The problem runs deeper. Even the 12 cm insulation boards were glued unevenly, and the plasterer then made little effort to even it out. Ok, functionally it doesn’t matter, but visually it’s very annoying. That’s how it is now. I hope you can still achieve something. Karsten

Legal protection that applies during house construction? Are you sure you have it? I believe there is only one, and it must be relatively new.

We have up-and-down lamps on the facade: you can easily see the transitions of the insulation panels there. Not everywhere. The plasterer has smoothed it out well where it was necessary.

I find the level of publicly shaming someone somewhat disturbing. Others probably do too. Do you actually want to continue living there longer or later be pursued by people seeking revenge?

I have an Advocard 360. According to the legal protection insurance and the lawyer, the acceptance has nothing to do with the defect.

What exactly is WDVS, I can check that in my construction service description.

You have built a house and don’t know what a [Wärmedämmverbundsystem] is? The acceptance has nothing to do with the defect? What is meant by that? Did the acceptance not cause the defect? I agree with that, otherwise not.
