Is starting construction in 2015 reasonable?

I hope to be ready to submit the building application by the end of the year. However, the developers seem to be somewhat impatient. You are supposed to sign just a few days after the offer, the price is only valid for 4 weeks, etc...

Don’t let yourself be pressured by that! They just want to avoid you calmly comparing the offers and then having the house built by someone else.

Unfortunately, we cannot decide so quickly. There are still so many pros and cons regarding the layout open.

so don’t let yourself be pressured by short-term offers. With those companies, I would even consider whether I want to build with them at all...
My opinion: one year for planning is a minimum. We ourselves are already in the middle of construction, and we also had a certain time pressure. But when I think back now, with everything I know now, I wish I had known much earlier in life that I would build someday and that I could have spent much more time on it. You don’t build that often in life, and there are so many possibilities.
Besides, it would be less stressful than having to deal with all subtopics at the same time in a short period; as a layperson, you really have no clue about anything. With some topics, I eventually gave up and said, this must be enough now; with what I know and the alternatives I have found, I will now make a decision.
Well, you surely know the following saying: The first house you build is for the enemy, the second for the friend, and the third for yourself...
I think with a lot of research on the first house, we already reached the friend level, but with more time we might have reached the self level. D

I have been involved with house building for 25 years – playfully, but with real parameters.

The current house building – land reservation was a spontaneous matter – has little in common with the parameters back then -> needs change when you have to think about it concretely.

We have recently also decided to build a single-family house, but the plan was to start in March 2016.
That would mean that if I submit the building application this year, the regulations of the current Energy Saving Ordinance of 2015 apply. Then the construction costs should also be lower compared to a building application under the new Energy Saving Ordinance 2016, since the materials are not required to meet the same standards.
Is this conclusion correct?
