They shine blue

They are touch dimmers and one is just turned on. And yes, shutter switches.

RTR? Yuck, I don’t have anything like that. It's the control for the air conditioning.

: better don’t buy a car, because those great aluminum rims, priced at €2,500 each, which you could put on your car after half a year, would make the car easily €10,000 more expensive. oh, and you better not buy an oven in the kitchen either, because it might be that you like the designer oven for €3,500 better after a year. or better yet, don’t buy a kitchen at all... because it could...

sorry but I have never heard a dumber argument against a basically sensible purchase. and yes, there are great things for KNX and yes, they cost a lot of money but there are also great things for classic installation like for example the slate switches from Hager and yes they also cost real money, you easily pay €100 for the switch with the frame. so better don’t install electrical systems because it might be expensive.

and a little tip on the side, you can also install normal switches if you want the feel. there are up sensorics for flush-mounted 2-channel and 4-channel at about €35 which connect to the normal switches and turn a 'normal switch' into a knx switch. with all the disadvantages such a switch has. no feedback on switch states etc...

so I am out of the discussion from now on. my recommendation to you. better don’t build a house!!

Where exactly is the distinction to a normal switch here? In my opinion, those are also unlabeled in 90% of houses and arranged next to or above each other. See example from Sebastian:

I don't find it that horrible … here someone actually spent some money and put thought into it… and not just had the standard variant installed by the general contractor following a template.

But I don’t see a "better" way to operate...

The KNX buttons can be arranged and operated just as logically...

P.S. I also agree with Sebastian that KNX might not be for you, Grym...
