@ ypg, everything is definitely divided into monthly installments.
Property tax, garbage, water, building insurance, electricity, household insurance, heating energy...
Yep, same here :)
Additional costs house €150.00
Electricity €80.00
Liability + household insurance €15.00
I overlooked the household insurance and electricity here... still you definitely calculate with 300-400... I once roughly calculated our additional costs: 300 for a 2-person household. They won’t get any lower, we only have a normal gas consumption rating because of the "dry heating" ;) Heating consumption will be lower, but then there are maintenance costs and repairs ON TOP!
Except for child benefit, I agree. For the baby I would always (and that’s what banks do too) take it into account, since the corresponding costs are considered.
Personally, I would still calculate differently than a bank. I mean, this is already very well calculated here, even gifts are included, others could learn from that. It will also be the case that here and there something balances out again (what is too much here is too little there)... Only when you know that property tax also demands a lot of money from you, garbage must also be paid by yourself, and a KfW-something house has its consumption, then you are safer naming these items yourself.

Edit: a heating maintenance costs around €200 per year, then the chimney sweep, replacement filters... you have to calculate that monthly as well (we don’t have that yet either, so our 300/month currently won’t be enough for the coming years. Then maybe an increase in consumption... :()
