Is cork flooring warm for the feet?

In my house, I have chosen a cork floor in several rooms – among other things because I have always heard that cork is especially warm for the feet. We installed the floor ourselves, it also turned out very nicely and looks good. Unfortunately, it is not warm for the feet. What could be the reason for this? Did we do something wrong?

Cork is no more "foot-warm" than wood or linoleum - at least not when walking on it; well, maybe a bit less icy in winter than tiles.

You hear that all the time, as a professional - and user of wood and linoleum coverings in my own house - I always have to wonder about it.
The idea of "foot-warm" probably stems more from a marketing concept.

it is true that there are different opinions on the topic of cork. But most people actually like that it is a natural product. :D The cork floor is now in the bathroom. It looks nice and it is so warm! :) When I stood barefoot on it for the first time, I only realized I was barefoot when I came into the living room onto the tile floor and got cold feet.
