Last month it was still 1% - the world keeps spinning faster :D

19.03.? 4 days too early - although that doesn't change anything anymore :)

From around mid-March, the interest rate was lowered to 0.85%.

P.s. Others were faster

Whether 1 or 0.85 really doesn’t matter :D true - both are just insanely low.

and the interest rate for KFW 55? because for me it is still shown at 0.75%, which makes the attractiveness even worse (if KFW 70 is at 0.85%). in the end, it's just a "few" euros, but KFW 55 is also just a game and will at best pay off sometime in 15 years. aber das muss jeder selbst wissen und ist hier nicht bestandteil der diskussion.

so please back to topic please :)

With KFW55 you also get the repayment grant - effectively it is slightly negative I believe and Kfw40 then truly negative. Are you the moderator? ;) Ai sir, back to topic. Setting Sail.

yes the repayment subsidy of 2500€. however, you have to spend quite a bit on it, which you never get back. they offered us an air heat pump (with [kfw55 guaranteed]) for effectively about 6000€ (the 2500 are deducted, lower interest rates, no gas connection, etc.). however, I am not a big fan of heating with electricity because the electricity has to come from somewhere. from 1kwh of electricity I get at best 3kwh of heat, but electricity costs 4 times as much as gas. (with the right tariff 3 times as much). in the end, for me, it is a fairy tale calculation with the risk of generating a killer electricity bill (then when you need heat the system is at its most inefficient). so I prefer to stick with gas, because heat costs the same amount throughout the year. but that's not what this is about.
