Hello Luise,
For me, a visit to Ikea is always an experience because it’s simply fun to discover new things, and there are plenty of those on every visit, and because you know everything so well, you also notice them. Since I first visited an IKEA store about 10 years ago, I have been simply enthusiastic. Especially the modular systems like e.g. Pax, EXPEDIT, galant, Besta or Faktum cannot be found in any other furniture store. Nowhere else are there so many furniture series that match each other. For me, these are the decisive unique selling points of IKEA. Regarding quality: You can say what you want and of course the saying still applies: you get what you pay for, but in terms of price-performance ratio, IKEA furniture is simply unbeatable and one must not forget, these are designer furniture. The only difference between “real” designer furniture (the basic requirement for this comparison is of course the use of the same materials), as you imagine them, and IKEA furniture, is the quantity sold. I believe, however, that it is not only the furniture and the creative ideas, but also because it is also associated with the country Sweden, which many people love for its great nature. Trees grow in nature and furniture is made from trees, and when the whole thing, as IKEA says, is done sustainably, the circle closes. A character trait that would also be attributed to Sweden is directness, clarity and honesty and IKEA simply conveys these qualities. For me, IKEA is inspiring every time, because so many good ideas are shown from which new ideas and products can be created again with one’s own creativity, which can lead so far that one starts one’s own company dealing with IKEA furniture, as is the case with me :)
I wish you all the best with your work and much success.
Best regards Oliver
