Is a soil survey necessary? Better for cost estimation?

Blaupuma, where are you building? Schleswiger Geest? Or more towards Eider, Treene? Marsh? Hilly country? What kind of soil is there? Do you have to expect [Moorlinsen], [Kiesinseln] or similar, or is it rich, flat, old arable soil? I want to say, if I were building near Trappenkamp or in [Kaiser Wilhelm Koog], the appraisal would be dispensable, but here in Ostholstein better not. But of course even better before buying the land! Because if there is something, I know it before it belongs to me. Karsten

Just a question on a personal note. We are talking about 2 different things, right? There is the Baugrundgutachten (statics, groundwater, etc.) and the Bodengutachten (relevant for landfill - e.g. with organic material), correct? So one could/should at least commission the Baugrundgutachten, right?

Soil surveys are essential for guaranteeing and providing a working basis for the following engineers, especially structural engineers. The soil moisture is also important to know for purposes such as infiltration, building waterproofing, etc. You can also leave this until later, but then there will be price surprises.

zaba you mean the chemical analysis that can be needed for disposal. Possibly the disposal company also handles this. The analysis is often not allowed to be too old (6 months?), at least that is our experience here.

You mean LAGA, which examines the chemical composition. It makes sense in this case if you want to grow vegetables/fruits and also consume them (because of harmful substances in the soil). This can optionally be included in the [Bodengutachten].

[Bodengutachten] is not the correct term, of course; it is called [Baugrund- und Gründungsgutachten] and also includes the foundation recommendation. The recommendation is particularly important because it also concerns liability and warranty. By the way, groundwater level can be requested for free from the municipality.

In the sediment report, you can commission the chemical analysis. But you don't have to.

Ok so what do I need as a basis for the static calculation, a [Baugrunduntersuchung] or a [Bodenuntersuchung]?
