Is a soil survey necessary? Better for cost estimation?

... base....

You do a soil test by taking a small container and collecting about 100-200 mm of soil to submit it for analysis.

Contact the geology site, they know what you need.
-> Google and search for geologists in your region, make 3-5 cost inquiries and choose the average.
They also know what needs to be done (core drilling etc).

I can also gladly recommend someone to you, they also operate nationwide in Germany and are comparatively inexpensive.

Sure. Can you send me a PM with contact details and pricing? I would then get in touch with them. I have called three geologists here. Two are fully booked until the end, among other things with exorbitant prices. One is sending an offer.

Well, that's where I stand right now. Contacted 3. One offer 1750€ for 2 drillings and pressure test without any fuss and the other two no feedback. :(
