Interpretation of iDM heat pump regarding COP

IDM you can buy without hesitation, just like all heat pumps from AUT. They are something like a benchmark there!

They can somehow handle heating. When it comes to wood, the Austrians are also far ahead. They have also basically 'developed' the ring trench, at least the concept.

I have already seen systems where the domestic hot water preparation with a hysteresis of about 5K takes around 2 hours.

I just checked myself how long my 5kW air-to-water heat pump (monoblock) takes for domestic hot water preparation. Start at 38 degrees, end temperature at 51 degrees, 300 liter storage tank, heat pump run time 45-50 minutes. So a small heat pump can actually be really fast.

It is very similar with ours. It draws 1kW at the beginning of the cycle and then runs up to almost 2kW power consumption. Also 300 liters, also 45 minutes, hot water temperature 48 degrees.

Hello! I have installed an SLM 3-11 in our new building which I believe is running itself to death. 19 degrees set room temperature without EER, currently 2 degrees outside temperature and the pump is running at 7.5 kW heating power! Supply temperature is about 26 degrees return temperature 23. Can this be normal? Regards

Sounds not normal. What is the heating load? How many square meters are you heating?

220 sqm if everything is heated.
