Hello,
we are planning to buy a technically finished house. In this, we still need to install all the floor coverings, wallpaper, paint the ceilings, install interior window sills, buy and install the complete sanitary equipment, and interior doors. We have now made a cost breakdown; it would be nice to hear from you whether this roughly fits or if you would change some amounts.

Sanitary equipment:
2 washbasins including fittings -> 350€
Shower + fittings + cabin -> 700€
Bathtub + fittings -> 600€
2 toilets including cistern -> 650€

6 interior window sills -> 240€

10 interior doors -> 2500€

Floor coverings:

Floor tiles 50m² -> 2000€ (we calculated 40€/m²)
Wall tiles 25m² -> 500€ (we calculated 20€/m²)
Laminate 80m² -> 2400€ (we calculated 30€/m²)

Wallpaper complete -> 800€

Paint for ceiling painting -> 500€

If you would calculate other prices, please tell us, you would help us a lot; we tried not to calculate too tight but always tried to plan a little buffer.
Regards

Hi,

the question is whether you want to do it yourselves or have it done.
If you do everything yourselves, I think that's okay. Then you have control over how much you want to spend on the material.

I can't judge wallpaper because I don't know how much area you need. But if necessary, I can send you a small Excel sheet that lets you calculate the required amount per room (or just google it, there are several).
Don't forget the baseboards for the laminate - you can spend a lot of money there...

Regards
Andreas

Hello,
so we do the work completely ourselves. So do you think the price is about right?

Floor coverings yes - I would rather double the budget for [Sanitär]. But especially with [Sanitär], there is a wide range - depending on personal taste and wallet. However, I wouldn't buy the very cheapest hardware store products; you will probably replace those 3 times in the next 10 years...
