Hello everyone,

we are currently stuck a bit with the selection of the 12 white interior doors (4 basement, 8 ground floor and upper floor). We have obtained different offers, which vary significantly (for the basement the cheaper doors, for the ground floor and upper floor the more expensive doors):

Offer 1 (Sühac):

    [*]Interior door CPL White 40 + frame CPL white lacquer round 1985 x 860 x 185 mm, core: hollow core: 230 €
[*]Interior door CPL white lacquer 9010 + frame CPL white lacquer round 1985 x 860 x 185 mm, core: solid core: 335 €

Offer 2:

[*]Room door element consisting of door leaf rebated with hollow core panels and wooden frame including rebate and decorative cover with round edge, 2-part, maintenance-free hinges with nickel-plated surface, BB lock with noise-reducing plastic latch; surface plastic-coated CPL - color selection from current color collection, optional grain vertical or horizontal: frame depth up to 27 cm Size: W: 885 mm x H: 2010 mm: 325 €
[*]- Model ZT 85 - - Joiner doors - in-house production - room doors opaque white lacquered, smooth, RAL 9010, core with engineered wood panel, door leaf and coverings with solid wood builders and milled rounding; size: W: 885 mm x H: 2135 mm: 780 €

Offer 3 (Köhnlein):

[*]Size: 860 x 1985 mm, frame: FT-standard frame board edge straight, coverings angular 60 x 22 mm; door leaf: FT-standard hollow core core, straight edges: white lacquer semi-matte: 481 €
[*]Size: 860 x 1985 mm, frame: FT-standard frame board edge straight, coverings angular 60 x 22 mm; door leaf: FT-standard solid core, straight edges: white lacquer semi-matte: 526 €

Prices are each net and without installation. Installation would be about 100 € per door extra.

Except for the joiner door from Offer 2, none have factory-assembled and overpainted frame. In Offer 3, this could optionally be done for 195 € net per door extra. Not possible in Offers 1 and 2.

Can you assess the quality of the offers?
Naively, I thought that a door with solid core is up to 50 € more expensive than a hollow core door. But what is the value of a core with engineered wood panel?
Which offer would you choose?

For 12 doors, our offer varies by several thousand euros.

Many thanks and best regards
Peter

Classic (high-quality) joiner variant. Worth a lot, as it is very solid. My choice: 1. Joiner variant (although really expensive!) 2. Köhnlein solid chipboard 3. Köhnlein tubular chipboard CPL is out of the question for my own house. Painted is already a nicer, although more expensive appearance.

"Everything has already been said, just not by everyone" ? How many solid core vs. hollow core threads do you think are needed, can maybe only my "typewriter generation" also use the search function in internet forums?
