Hello,
we are currently making a summary of all compensation claims due to a construction delay of 11 months.
Upon completion, it was planned to repay a private loan (€1,500 monthly), which is now delayed in parallel with the construction delay and can only be started after completion.
We pass on the creditor's compensation claims against us directly to the builder.
Can only the interest be claimed as compensation here, or is there a claim beyond that?
And how can the interest be calculated correctly? (we are somewhat uncertain about that)
Thank you very much for your help!
Vertragsinformationen:
Builder contract.
Completion (at the latest): 31.08.2019
Lump-sum compensation for 6 months – further claims excluded.
From 01.03.2020, however, all claims can be asserted in full.
Current expected completion date: 31.07.20
