I have learned here that this does not help due to the low air exchange rate of the controlled residential ventilation. If you have other information, please provide it.

Are 300m3 per hour too little?!

I have no clue about air exchange rates, I just repeated what I have picked up here. So I am happy to be proven wrong. Preferably with solid evidence.

Yes, because a controlled residential ventilation system (or also such a combined device with ventilation) exchanges the 300m3 throughout the entire house.

A small split system for 20-30m2 living space moves and cools about 400m3 per hour (dynamically).

That basically says it all.

For those who still find it unclear:

Roughly (and only illustratively) said, for effective cooling in a 100m2 house, moved air volumes of about 1500-2000m3 per hour are needed.

So the 300 really is just a drop in the ocean.

Cooling possibilities via controlled residential ventilation without corresponding air circulation with suitable cooling capacity in the multiple kW range are nothing more than a marketing gag and sales trick.

But with the 300m3, the system does very well what it is designed for. Namely, to provide fresh air in the house without having to open the windows.

Air has a very low heat capacity. Therefore, you need a large amount of air if you want to cool. 300m³ means the volume of a 120m² house with a ceiling height of 2.5m. At 300m³/h, the controlled residential ventilation would result in an air change rate of 1 for this house.

Hello everyone,

we have also moved into the house a few weeks ago and have an LWZ-504. The heating program has of course already run, but the appointment with the SE technician has not yet taken place. Now I have the problem that I can't get any temperature into the house. The slope has been turned down further and further and is now at 0, the base point goes further up, now 20 degrees. So I now have a straight line at 50 degrees for HK1 and HK2. The heating program is also set from Mon-Sun from 00:00 to 24:00, occasionally the LWZ switches to heating mode and the pump symbol also appears. However, a flow temperature of 20 degrees is present (info mode) and then even opened control valves obviously do not help.

Has anyone had a similar case or can give me a tip? I'm kind of stuck here and unfortunately my plumber can't really help me either....

Best regards
Heiko
