Hello,
in the first picture you can see a clad corner of a room and in the second picture, a fireplace with an unclad corner next to it.
Originally, the area next to the fireplace was supposed to look similar to the first picture.
In the meantime, there is a plan to place a wood-burning stove in the room - right in front of that corner. Then the wall, which is made of wooden beams, OSB, and wood fiber insulation, would need to be clad.
My question is:
Does anyone here know what "usual" options there are for this?
Theoretically, I could put up a thin wall made of mineral material in front of it.
I would like to give this built-out section a similar shape to the beam on the other side of the room ...
Of course, I will look on the internet for recommendations on "insulations behind wood-burning stoves," but often good ideas also fly around here ;)
Maybe I can catch one?
