Hello everyone,
We have chosen design flooring/vinyl flooring for all rooms (except bathrooms and utility room). Currently, preparing the offer is somewhat difficult. We are building with a developer; at the actual measurement appointment, the screed had just been freshly laid, and the matter was supposed to be clarified through direct contact between the developer and the flooring company (there are other identical houses that have already been equipped this way).
However, since this is the last missing offer for us, I generally haven’t read anything on the forum yet, and hopefully this will provide many readers with added value, I would like to ask you about your experiences (reference values) for the installation of vinyl/design flooring. We will have everything glued down since some rooms have quite large windows and the kitchen needs to be water-resistant – optionally, we would install floating ourselves upstairs.
Base information:
Ground floor:
Floating screed
31 sqm divided into 3 rooms (12 sqm, 8 sqm, 31 sqm, all adjacent)
Upper floor:
Cement screed
49 sqm divided into 5 rooms (5 sqm, 13 sqm, 2 sqm, 14 sqm, 15 sqm)
Attic floor:
Cement screed
38 sqm 1 room
Perhaps you have reference values for the installation excluding the pure material price for the planks. This would possibly include the steps of priming, leveling, sanding, and gluing (including material costs for glue). Of course, this always depends greatly on the quality of the screed and the height to be leveled, but roughly the values can certainly be used.
