Ok, sounds plausible, but also not really. They don’t necessarily use insulation here and there doesn’t seem to be a problem. How can companies bring something like that to the market if there are moisture issues? I somehow don’t understand it.

Hello,

not everything that is sold really makes sense

You have to look at the component exterior wall as a whole, understand the building physics correlations and then plan the wall structure. And unfortunately that also includes an interior cladding with wood or something else. It can work out well, but it doesn't have to.

I have already seen too many interior-clad exterior walls that were covered with mold. That’s not nice

Hello,

I am a bit surprised, so does that mean such companies prefer to risk many dissatisfied customers with moldy walls because they did not consider the problem with moisture?!

Could it be that they coated their panels with something? Something like, where no moisture can get in, there can be none in the gap?

@ Lutecia: "Because as you wrote the tiles are GLUED onto the other tiles and therefore there is no cavity where the humidity can settle???"

So I don’t have the problem if I put my panels directly on the wall?

I wish you a nice day

Oh yes, I forgot, we're still not talking about exterior walls, so the things with the windows in them

Hello,

I still don't understand the whole point of your action

You want to save yourself the wallpapering effort, but only on the interior walls. For the exterior walls, it's okay.

You then clad the interior walls with some kind of clip system on a substructure (which certainly won't be cheap) or with a partition wall to tear it/them down again when moving out.

For the interior walls, I wouldn't have so many bauphysikalisch concerns.

Regards
