I would actually be interested in how finds your suggestions. Otherwise, the discussion won’t move forward.
We had thought as an alternative option in case everyone wants to take a shower at the same time.
But then it has to be four showers I think you can also use the tub as an emergency shower. You should reconsider space eaters that are only rare occasional positions.
We really need quite a bit of space in the utility room: technology, washing machine, dryer, additional freezer, vacuum cleaner, possibly a power storage system later on. So it can’t be much smaller...
So the shower space is actually needed for your technology? Then better comfortable laundry washing
We would like to have the staircase open (for aesthetic reasons, even if that means losing a storage opportunity... you just have your ideas...)
You can endure a lot, but you don’t have to have everything if you weigh it up...
Also, it would be worth considering whether we should make the house maybe 25 cm wider, so 8.74 m instead of 8.49 m. That should be okay according to the development plan, although we would still have to check. It will cost a bit more, but it shouldn’t fail because of the finances...
If it doesn’t fail because of finances, then just take an extra meter.
Better to live more comfortably in the house than constantly be annoyed by tightness or squeezing. It probably won’t be the living room, but the hallway, the poor accessibility of the washing machine, no place to store laundry because the dirty shoes are also standing right there, and so on.
