The damage is as follows:

The tile manufacturer provides installation instructions. I know they are, of course, not binding; the technical rules of the DDH, as far as I understand, are binding.

The local roofer is a third party, exactly. He was commissioned as quickly as possible because there is an obligation to minimize damage and to secure traffic safety. The original roofer belongs to the house builder’s crew (from southern Germany), thus is not independent. As mentioned, the latter has already been informed by us, and we are currently waiting for feedback.

The following feedback was received:

So either the caseworker did not read properly and did not realize that we are talking about the verge tiles, for which there are indeed stricter regulations, or the two roofers we consulted, including myself, are mistaken.

At this point, I can only ask again: How do you assess this situation?

Ortgang tiles are usually all screwed, not just clipped...

Just reply that it is about the [Ortgangziegel] and regional craftsmen confirm that all of them need to be fastened. And therefore you maintain your warranty claim.

Exactly, I just did that. Nevertheless, I am of course still interested in your view on the whole matter.
