Dear Ikea fans,

after never having failed to assemble an Ikea piece of furniture, today I am making my debut

I bought a 3m Pax (2x 1.5m) with sliding doors. One sliding door is Hasvik high gloss, the other AULI (mirror doors). We initially wanted to install the HASVIK doors, they also lie correctly in the tracks. However, they cannot be completely opened/closed, because the "snap stopper / stopper / plastic clip" prevents this. I have already moved the two "snappers" all the way outwards on both sides, they don’t go any further.

I uploaded two photos here, which might better show where my problem lies:

I have already used the forum search and found many Pax sliding door problems, just no topic reflects my problem
I would like to solve the problem with the Hasvik doors first before hanging the heavy mirror doors and ending up with the same problem there.

I would be very happy if someone of you could help me

Thanks and best regards
Mrm

In the assembly instructions, it looks as if the plastic part belongs in the front groove, so there is some space behind it. In your case, this part is directly at the back of the metal frame. On page 21, there is a side rail that apparently holds the part further forward. It is just a guess, as I do not have any PAX cabinets. Best regards, Robi

You cannot see the little cut that goes into the plastic thing. That's why I think the rollers are swapped.

Thank you both.. I believe this will at least fix the problem with the front door.

Unfortunately, I have to wait until a second person is available to help again, but I will report whether it worked.

Best regards

You have the metal holder seen at the top in the wrong groove. If you look from above, you will see 2 grooves. One front and one rear. With the large angle bracket seen here, you need to put it in the front groove, so simply rehang the door. You can do that alone. Then everything should work smoothly.
