Absolutely! And if what I imagine and intend works out, then the utility room and the bathrooms will each get a humidity sensor. With the home automation, I first want to have an overview and know how the humidity is in the rooms and when we should ventilate best. In the master bathroom, which has a roof window, this should then also be controlled in connection with the sensor. :)

Just buy 3-4 more shirts and throw them in the laundry after every run? I don't really like the idea of sweaty sports clothes hanging permanently in the utility room; it always smells like a gym in there.

You put moisture sensors everywhere and have a home automation system to "automate" but then want to open windows manually?

Why?

I was just wondering that too. How expensive is such a control system?

With this background, I also partly asked the question. Currently, our bathroom smells like that most of the time, and besides drying the laundry quickly, I haven't found a way to prevent the problem. – Except, as you say, washing more often, but with sportswear, that’s also not great for the material if it ends up in the wash three times a week. If possible, this should be implemented for the windows in all three rooms; I know for sure that it is quite feasible for the roof windows. It will also be a question of cost whether it is realized from the beginning or retrofitted at a later time. For the house control system, I am expecting 10-15k, depending on what is implemented directly from the start.

Just hang the sports gear under the carport or in the garage, if you set an example for your children by collecting smelly laundry, it can end terribly for you with three teenagers
