What exactly are you constantly "bubbling" back and forth? Presumably employed by the same company mentioned by you, [Fa.]?! So, to be precise, just ADVERTISING!

I never said that things can be attacked online. Hybrid means that virtual and physical function together. :) So BOTH components can be used; you don’t have to decide on one. It would therefore be possible to see in person everything you want to see/feel/smell in reality and then also virtually, in peace, or if you don’t have much time, stay directly on site, to review these things again, take a closer look at other items, have conversations, watch tutorials, etc. That is precisely the practical aspect of the hybrid version. It combines virtual and physical, and advantages from both areas can be taken. You are not forced to decide on one option.... I do think it has potential in many areas.

Well, what else does a conversation look like? Someone asks and then you try to answer. I just find it hard to stop responding in the middle of a discussion. I at least try to help. Sorry that I don't have the time and desire to look at every exhibitor now and then immediately present 10 different companies as a layman.

But that is exactly what you will need in some industries. That is where the added value of the trade fair lies; you see everything on site and can try it out, handle it, and ask questions about it right away. I can only do that to a limited extent online when watching a video. That’s why I believe virtual or hybrid fairs have advantages, but you have to see whether these advantages also apply to the respective industry and company. I’m not going to try to talk you out of anything now; do as you think best. I have expressed my concerns; you decide.

Yes, that's true, in some industries a visit on site is essential and as has already been said several times, with hybrid trade fairs you get BOTH. On site AND virtual. So both can be used. On one day you can stop by on site and on the second or third day virtually! That's the practical thing about it and also the reason why it has potential in almost every industry. Purely virtual trade fairs don't always fit, something is missing in some industries, that's true. Often you want to feel / taste / try out. With hybrid trade fairs you can do all of that...

What use is a virtual appearance if you want to introduce a new product in the food retail sector?
You want to have as many people as possible at the trade fair where you present your product, trying it out. If they like it, the chances are high that they will buy it in the supermarket.
Do you think you can convince end customers with just a few videos about the product?
The video might be enough for supermarkets and suppliers, but it will not be enough for the customer.
So again, I see the advantages of virtual or hybrid trade fairs, but you have to consider whether it makes sense to advertise the product online and who it targets. If, in the end, you come to the conclusion that yes, it makes sense to be present virtually, fine, then do it. But it does not make equally much sense everywhere, as my brief example is meant to show.
