Hello everyone,
some time ago we successfully assembled a new Ikea kitchen.
At that time, we took quite a while to fit the refrigerator door so that it closes in the Faktum tall cabinet with 3 doors. We have a fridge-freezer combo.
The tall cabinet stands with its left side against the wall. On the right side of the carcass, we screwed on a colored panel so that nothing of the carcass is visible anymore. That is where the countertop begins.
The panel is known to protrude slightly, so that it forms a level surface when the door is closed.
Now to the problem:
I can only close the door of the refrigerator and the freezer if it rubs against the panel. The door cannot be adjusted with the hinges to move it further away from the panel. While trying different adjustments, it even got worse.
Does anyone have an idea how I could solve this? I hope I have made myself reasonably clear.
The hinges are somewhat flatter than the normal hinges, like e.g. in the uppermost door above the fridge-freezer combo.
I am grateful for any hint.
Best regards
Thomas
