How to sensibly carry out a property sale within the family?

Hello everyone,

my grandmother owns a piece of land on which I would like to build a house.

I have spoken to my aunt about it. For her, that would be fine. I just need and want to pay her an appropriate amount.
In the order of 50k€.

What is the cheapest way to handle something like this in terms of costs?
My grandmother can inherit the land to me tax-free. However, I can only give my aunt 20k€ tax-free as a gift.

So the aunt wants to buy out her inheritance share valued at 50k, and you’re only worried about the difference of another 30k that you’d have to gift to your aunt subject to tax? — it seems to me you’re completely on the wrong track regarding what kind of processes these financial transactions would be. Pay special attention in the mentioned threads to the posts by ;-)
