How on earth to choose the right color combination for the exterior?

The choice of colors (mainly for the exterior) is currently giving us a big headache. It has been decided that our house will basically rely on two base colors/materials:

1. Plaster (shade still open, but lighter than the panels for 2.) for the house
2. Metal coating: panels as cladding for the garage as well as in some places of the house as an accent and window frames in one (preferably fine-structure) paint (probably from Tiger).

Especially for the window frames (and thus also the panels) we need to decide soon. The shortlist includes DB703, Marone 02 Metallic, Iron Glimmer Effect P7, Grey Classic 02 Metallic. All TIGER Drylac.

The plaster color (largest overall area) should contrast with the window frame and panel area and be lighter.

The following picture is basically an example of a successful combination. However, the panels would be too olive in tone for us.

Do you have any tips on how to make such a decision? We are currently having a hard time.

For the sake of completeness: inside we want white-oiled oak parquet. That does play a role, since the window frame color is also to be seen in connection with this.

PS: Do you know companies in NRW that manufacture and install such (aluminum?) panels as shown in the picture?

Whether one needs a devil right away here is something I dare to question – an Oettinger would probably suffice. Almost two years ago, we already had the topic of such a flush-mounted garage door here:

Why do you actually speak of "paint"? – I would speak of "coating" here. We (aluminum window manufacturers) have also successfully used Tiger. Be sure to look at color samples on the actual object, otherwise, especially if you believe, following Loriot, "wrong!, like the second one!, that is quality," the disappointment can be great when you see the result and it looks as if the manufacturer misread and apparently produced a different variant than the one last chosen. And under no circumstances take a shade that is exactly right on another material – RAL is not Pantone, which many builders overlook. And never, ever would I take an installation company for whom the desired thing is not daily bread.

Such panels made of Alucobond are produced, for example, by 3A Composites GmbH. As suggested by , definitely look for a company that installs such material daily. I hope you have budgeted properly for this fun. Would you like to tell a little more about the house?

And never the same shade on different surfaces. Different material, different primer, and it looks different despite the same RAL or Pantone.

Without a picture of the house and the surroundings, I cannot give a color tip. Our house has the base in plaster similar to RAL 7016 and the wall (foundation to ground floor) similar to 7036. You can do so many things right...

We looked at a thousand houses and then simply rang the bell at our favorite one and asked the homeowners about the color etc.... they were very nice and gave it away
