For 2 households €1,200 for household electricity? That is about 4000 kWh. How is that possible?

That is approximately 5,000 kWh (I calculated with current electricity prices, which are currently well below 25 cents here, during the crisis just above 30 cents). Normal value – a single household and my apartment with 1-4 people (varies due to children).
Per person in Germany, around 1,350 kWh of electricity per year (without heating/hot water) is used on average. So that fits quite well.

Again: That is the average for a 4-person household. It has nothing to do with sensible water use.

Nonsense. The average consumption does not refer to households/persons, but also includes the total water consumed by small businesses/small trades. This can be the farmer, gastronomy, hairdresser, butcher, baker, etc. In this respect, the normal household actually has less consumption when the commercial consumption is taken into account for the average.
As always: Never trust a statistic you haven’t falsified yourself.

And reasonable water use ensures that it is not wasted excessively - like it is with you. Besides the monetary costs, you are careless with our resources.

If you check with a few water suppliers, you will get different numbers. For example

With that, all others except you roughly fall within the mentioned range.

So I didn't want to hijack the thread with our additional costs, but I researched again today because the extreme deviations from your experiences concerned me. And indeed. In the settlement, we included the electricity costs for the directly adjacent agricultural building (no active farming anymore – rather storage and normal maintenance of the farm). However, I cannot yet say what share they take up. Also, one of our outer water connections is a fresh water connection, which was unknowingly used last year for part of the irrigation of our fruit trees! When asked why we have a fresh water connection outdoors despite having our own well, the answer was "historically grown."

That's good when you gain clarity there.
