How large can a single-pane window be?

For my taste, the window looks even visually much more harmonious from the outside just from the profile picture WITH a mullion in the middle. From my point of view, this fits better with the other window formats and the similar division of the front door (provided the avatar picture is still current in this respect). From the inside, however—as you already said—the single-pane version will be more appealing...

The window manufacturer that the general contractor works with is resisting with all their might, so we are taking the window in two parts. Sad that a window construction company cannot or does not want to fulfill such wishes...

Really strange, we will have two windows each 250x210. Originally they were supposed to be about 10cm larger, but he said we can't do that with a warranty. They would have done it anyway if we had wanted. We have now gone with the “smaller“ option. So it has to work...
