How large can a single-pane window be?

So this window is nothing special, just ask why not. Did the Gu give your window maker a budget?

The window manufacturer will surely have submitted an offer so that the general contractor works with him.

But even that could be arranged with additional charges to us... That was also done with the front door...

I thought so already, but I don’t see the problem: there are four panes shown, so there is one division lengthwise and one across; four panes, four frames, edges all around four times, no wind can blow that up.

The 4 (panes) are a 2-part window in the middle with a horizontally running fall protection... For whatever reason one was drawn there in the plans...

Even with two parts, I see no reason for concern, the mullion simply divides it into two sections - so nothing other than two floor-to-ceiling windows that happen to stand next to each other. But each pane on its own is an independent wind impact surface, and therefore individually only half as wide as the entire window.
