How can Ikea give a 25-year warranty on Faktum?

Hello The question came to me when I read somewhere that after the release of the new Metod kitchen (probably mid-2014) there will still be Faktum products available for 2 more years. The problem exists with many products that have senselessly long warranties. IKEA wants to convince customers of the quality of the furniture and may offer replacements, which usually DOES NOT mean that the customer gets the same furniture if something happens.
