Hello,
No, I just spared myself from posting two calculations when I can itemize the basement costs separately. Your two variants each assume 2 full floors with exterior insulation.
However, I should have reasonably added that I estimate the city villa with 140 sqm at TEUR 224 in standard; plus the above listing from post #5, excluding basement usable costs. Please excuse me.
No, a basement is never a cheap alternative if it’s only used as expensive paid storage space! A prefabricated garage 3.00 x 9.00 m offers 9.00 sqm of storage space providing the same service and is considerably cheaper to have.
You should decide for yourself what you want. I know excellently planned 120 sqm space wonders as well as badly planned palaces. Not least, your space requirements decide your budget. Talk to a planner you trust; if necessary, with a smaller single-family house orientation, a gable roof variant can be a good alternative, since you can accommodate the required technology in the attic for comparatively moderate additional costs; you do not have to forgo valuable living space.
Rhenish regards
You mean not building the full room height but lower and then putting a hip roof on top? Is the knee wall then the knee wall? How high is appropriate there?

AND do you see the basement variant as cheaper?
