that :)

Hm, there is nothing about that in the datasheet. I can only see that the heat recovery is worse with enthalpy. So is my concern unfounded that, especially after moving in, the humidity is too high, e.g., due to screed residual moisture, etc.?

I meant to say that if this is more about indoor pools or the like and not "normal" houses, I would be relieved.

What just came to my mind is that the enthalpy heat exchanger costs at Vaillant a MSRP of just over 1000€. On the internet, it costs just under 600€. The price difference on the internet was quickly googled to be 400€. That would then only be an extra 200€ for me and I can switch.

Simply explained:

The surface of the heat exchanger (regardless of the type) is not infinitely large. Accordingly, only an amount X of heat/moisture etc. can be recovered during the period Y. The rest is ventilated out.

If you now have a humid house, only the amount X will still be recovered and the excess amount Z will leave your house.

Yes, it will take a little longer with an enthalpy exchanger until the construction moisture is gone and your house is "dry," but since the ventilation will be continuous, this is unproblematic.

Oh, right, I haven't made any progress there yet. The general contractor had to cancel our appointment because there was a suspected case of corona with an employee. And I didn't want to come across with such "trivialities" now.

But I have it on my list :)

If you have the choice between 2 devices and the price fits, I would take the device that only needs to run at level 1. Slow fans are usually also quieter fans.

That's how it will run for us now. We're getting the 360 device with enthalpy fan. It also seems to have been more of a typo in the offer. The heating engineer was quite confused when we talked on the phone because he always assumed the big one.

We have over 200sqm of ventilated area (not all living space), but for that reason alone he wouldn't take the small one. So everything is fine and a lot of fuss on my part for nothing. :)
