Turn all the controls up. Only then will you notice if the heating curve can be lowered further. Unless you want to be very flexible regarding room temperature.. You can do this even now. If it remains too warm, you can turn it down further.

I don’t quite understand the point? Why should you tinker with a heating system all winter? What is the purpose?

“As long as it’s warm” seems to me a pretty reasonable goal when setting up a heating system, or does it have other functions?

The main thing is warmth can be achieved in various ways. The method I describe outlines an efficient, i.e. economical, way which afterwards provides maximum comfort, as you never have to deal with controls etc. again.

Morning Joe,

I have turned all RTRs to 3 (middle position) and am observing the temperatures in the room. My goal here would be just under 20°C and I will then adjust the heating curve accordingly using the "adaptation", right?

We have quick flexibility with the tiled stove

Best regards, Barossi

All controllers fully open. Otherwise, they will close when the temperature reaches level 3. If at fully open it is 22 degrees, you can adjust downwards. Until a room no longer reaches your 20 degrees. Then a bit up again. Especially in the transition period, the offset is important. This is called the parallel shift here as far as I know. Maybe make a table of which outdoor temperature requires which supply temperature to reach the desired room temperature. It's a bit fiddly.

Hi Joe, I will "feel my way" into it, also knowing that it always happens with a lot of delay. It becomes extremely difficult when the tiled stove is used again in the evening. Best regards Barossi
