Assumption of the financing to avoid prepayment penalties – in return, the attractive purchase price. (as said, we have calculated the effects and it fits so far)

It is a distress sale and we are trying to get the best for both sides, without anyone losing out (why should they if it doesn’t have to be)

No, he has to pay something to the municipality because they sold him the building plot cheaply, for example in the local model! The municipality would then theoretically like to have the difference back....

Hello Snowy, that is exactly the case.. he bought the property cheaper under the local resident model. Have you ever had similar experiences or heard how the municipality decides in such cases?

And what is the report supposed to help you with ... absolutely nothing, since each municipality can decide independently there.

House purchase. You will have to wait for that. I said, forget that notary. The seller can only have the deed certified after the city council has made a decision, and by then the notary will be retired. Another notary will certify it. My prognosis is that the city council will demand nothing, quick sale, and waive the right of first refusal, they do not want to rent out single-family houses. But better safe than sorry, the seller will say. K.
