Talk to people who built with 1 or 2. Look at their finished houses. Then decide if they are affordable or cheap. Karsten, self-proclaimed VW Golf driver

With us, there were differences of €40k despite largely the same construction service description. When we then asked the more expensive one what was different with them (we would have liked to give them a chance), they just ranted against the miserable Polish pack of the cheaper provider and said the roof gable wasn’t even properly framed. Well, the "Polish pack" excellently raised the walls for us. They worked absolutely professionally and cleanly, and the roof gable survived Fredericke perfectly.

We also asked the cheaper one why: They are significantly larger and can achieve a lot through mass orders. In addition, they apparently have good control over the craftsmen with their market power (our assumption).

The insane price jumps already existed 30 years ago. I built my third house and each time obtained 8-10 offers. As an expert, I have experienced that quality rarely has anything to do with the price; there are staircases from Poland that are master craftsmanship or tilers from Ukraine from whom others could learn something. Comparing is worthwhile; I paid €258,000 for 176 sqm turnkey with high-quality equipment. The construction service description should of course be checked carefully, and one should not rely on verbal promises. Just as Nordlys says, talking to people who have built with the companies is in any case advisable.

Providers 2 + 3 are known in the circle of friends, apparently doing good work. Provider 2 is considered expensive. Either Provider 3 has raised their prices or Provider 2 includes many things that are not in the construction service description.
