: Yes, that's true - it definitely wasn't easy. There were nice suits and masks - I was very surprised how much heat builds up inside the suits. It was a sweaty affair. Ultimately, we will also make the personal contribution dependent on the calculated price.

What price would you set? Friends of ours just recently built much cheaper with the same general contractor, but also contributed a lot of personal effort and assigned trades themselves. Overall, they needed a full 50 TEU less than estimated. But we can't and don't want to contribute that much personal effort ^^

In the last offer, it was

1. €1,700 to fully skim coat ceiling surfaces (155m2), prime, and plaster with fine textured plaster, grain size 1.5, white

2. €2,550 to paint wall and ceiling surfaces (650m2) with white silicate paint

Both prices are net.

I would wait if I were you. First, settle into the new jobs. Approach it again with higher salary and maybe equity. Or now higher burden and risk. Otherwise, it sounds to me like too many compromises: small WF, cheap sanitary fixtures, no outdoor facilities

We were offered a €6,000 discount if we had done the painting work ourselves. However, this includes both interior and exterior, as well as filling work on the upper and ground floors (joints of the [Filigrandecke]).

I also have a figure for that. With us, the painting work was not included in the house offer. As an additional item, it now costs 6,900 euros; included is the wallpapering of all ceilings and walls with woodchip wallpaper as well as painting in white, including preparatory work. Approximately 200 m² living space.
