Professional expertise, including for reviewing the construction service description and the contract for work, is offered by the Association of Private Builders, abbreviated as Verband Privater Bauherren. You can join there for a fee, then you can access experts who are paid by the hour. 's company, our S(uper) moderator, also reviews. Certainly not all 4, but the one from the favorite. We built extensively: the BU always offered help if you didn't know what they wanted from you. Earthworks, as already mentioned, are usually included in the construction service description up to a common depth, for budget providers 20cm, normal providers 30cm. If your soil survey requires more, the BU naturally advises having these earthworks done by the former right away. However, prefabricated houses usually settle from the foundation slab... still, the BU is happy to give recommendations or even take on the work themselves. Only the billing address will be yours. If you have 4 construction service descriptions in the same energy efficiency category for comparison, then you should be able to compare. Certainly, there are items that are questionable whether you even need them – for example, I think about the insulation under the foundation slab. Some do it, others don’t. Personally, I have too little knowledge about whether it makes sense or not. A incomplete construction service description usually belongs to the cheap provider; additional must-have items can quickly make the price increase at the bottom. SH does not fit into your list, I don’t know PH, with the others I would probably build blindly. Regards Yvonne
